Position Summary

The Officer/ Senior Officer, Human Resources will support the HR Department in both strengthening internal systems and ensuring smooth day-to-day operations. The role will contribute to improving processes, enhancing employee experience, and maintaining efficient HR service delivery across the organization. The position requires a proactive individual who can balance structured execution with continuous improvement initiatives.

Job Responsibilities

Process & Systems Strengthening

  • Assist in reviewing and refining HR processes, workflows, and documentation for improved efficiency and consistency.
  • Support the development of trackers, tools, and structured systems to enhance coordination and record management.

Organizational Structure & Coordination

  • Contribute to maintaining clarity in roles, reporting lines, and team coordination across departments.
  • Assist in aligning HR practices with evolving organizational needs and internal changes.

HR Data & Reporting

  • Support in collecting, organizing, and analyzing HR data to identify trends, gaps, and areas for improvement.
  • Maintain updated records and generate reports as required for decision-making.

Employee Engagement & Experience

  • Assist in implementing initiatives that enhance employee engagement and overall workplace experience.
  • Support in addressing employee concerns and improving internal communication practices.

Recruitment & Onboarding

  • Support end-to-end recruitment processes, including job postings, screening, and interview coordination.
  • Assist in onboarding activities, including orientation sessions and documentation.

HR Operations & Documentation

  • Maintain and update employee records in HRIS and ensure proper documentation management.
  • Prepare HR documents such as contracts, letters, certificates, and personnel files.

Payroll & Compliance Support

  • Assist in payroll preparation, including timesheet collection and data consolidation.
  • Ensure adherence to organizational policies and proper documentation standards.

Qualifications & Experience 

Education:

  • Bachelor's/Master's degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, or a related field.

Experience:

  • 1–4 years of relevant experience.

Skills & Competencies

  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in HRIS and MS Office applications.
  • Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Knowledge of Bangladesh labor laws and regulations.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
