Position Summary

The project aims to provide structured basic literacy and numeracy education to 100 out-of-school children from the Manta community in Barishal. Living primarily on boats due to river erosion and displacement, these children have little to no access to formal schooling.

Through a customized learning module and a digital education model, the project will conduct 80 structured classes over five months. Children will receive learning materials and basic snacks to support attendance and engagement. The programme will also integrate social and emotional learning (SEL) activities to build confidence, communication skills, and positive learning behaviour. Community engagement, parent meetings, and advocacy efforts will complement classroom activities to reduce dropout and promote educational inclusion.
